Democratic Senatorial Committee Attacks Todd Akin Without Telling The Real Reason Missourians Are Paying High Gas Prices

Without even announcing he is running for Senate, the Democratic Senatorial Committee have begun to attack Todd Akin. This must mean Democrats look at Akin as the front runner in the Missouri Senate race. Their attacks are quite funny. I will tell you why.

“Todd Akin is laying cozily in the pocket of Big Oil and protecting special multi-billion dollar tax giveaways to oil companies while Missouri families and businesses are paying sky-high gas prices.” said Matt Canter, Democratic Senatorial Campaign Committee spokesman. “While Big Oil companies reap nearly historic billion dollar profits, Missouri families are being squeezed by soaring gas prices.”

Funny, now that Obama is president Democrats aren't so quick to point fingers at the president for high gas prices. That wasn't the case when George W. Bush was president, now was it. I mean it had to be George W. Bush's fault simply because he had friends in the oil business and it really had nothing to do with economic principles. Those Democrats really have a funny way of thinking, especially when you consider 2011 oil prices have more to do with the president than 2008 oil prices.

How is that? Well have you seen the value of the United States dollar or the value of gold? The dollar is in steep decline while the price of gold has skyrocketed. This is because Obama's solution through the mind of Timothy Geithner working with the Federal Reserve thought it was a good idea to go on a huge printing money spree, which in turned devalued your dollar. When the dollar is worth less, it obviously takes more dollars to purchase common goods.

When the dollar is weak against foreign currencies, obviously goods we import like oil are going to cost Americans more dollars. But of course the dishonesty of the Democratic Senatorial Committee would never give you an honest explanation for the price of oil now would they?
