Raise The Terror Alert Level… On the Missouri Delta

Let’s play a word game today that will help explain some of the current tyranny we suffer under in these United States. Americans refer to France, Afghanistan and Pakistan as countries but in the 18th century they were commonly called “states”. Our Declaration of Independence even dissolves our political connections with “the state of Great Britain”.

This is why the 50 sovereign entities that make up our current federal union are importantly called “states” but they can as easily be called “countries”. Why does this matter? It matters because our Federal Government cannot be the sole arbiter of the extent of it’s own powers. The countries that ratified the Constitution have an important role as a check against federal aggression.

In sum, the 50 states then are sovereign countries just like Pakistan and Afghanistan.

It should come as no surprise then that we hear cries from DeceptiCONS and Wilsonian nation builders that the sovereignty of Pakistan is to be ignored as long as there is someone residing there that King Hussein Obama wants to kill or sick a fleet of Predator drones on. Obama and the last dozen or so Presidents before him regarded the American states in a similar fashion. As long as there is “actionable intelligence” that someone is doing something our federal overlords don’t approve of, that state’s sovereignty can be ignored and the Feds can act unilaterally to stop the activity at their pleasure. Like Missourians wanting to protect their farmlands from the Corps of Engineers blowing up levees in Illinois.

My only question is why wasn’t the terror threat level raised… in Missouri?
