Missouri US Senate Race Public Policy Poll May 3, 2011

A new Public Policy Poll shows Claire Mama Caskill beats all three of her Republican challengers if the US Senate Race was held today. Todd Akin, the undeclared candidate stands the best chance of being Claire McCaskill. He trails her by a point, 46-45.

Sarah Steelman, who has been in the race the longest still can't seem to come out with a positive poll. She loses to Claire Mama Caskill by two points 45-43.

Ed Martin stands the worst chance of beating Claire. McCaskill holds a big lead over Martin 46-39.

The Republican primary is probably going to get nasty considering the last time Sarah Steelman ran for office, she launched a very negative campaign against Kenny Hulshof for governor. The battle within the GOP ranks hurt the GOP's chances later on, and one has to wonder if Republicans will hold Steelman's wicked ways against her next year in hopes of avoiding a weakened party in the general election.

By the way Sarah, how do you keep a free market free?
