KOLR/KSN Poll Shows Ike Skelton Ahead of Vicky Hartzler

Going into the final weekend of the debate, it appears if the KOLR/KSN poll is correct, Ike Skelton's job is hanging on the margin of error. A KOLR and KWTO's Brian Calfano says, ""Three words: Fort Leonard Wood. In what looks like a horrible year for Democrats, Skelton held a lead over Republican Vicky Hartzler in the poll, although it is within the margin of error. Skelton's lead is likely due to his relentless series of TV ads that question whether Vicky Hartzler will be able to protect Fort Leonard Wood from future rounds of base closings."

However, Ike Skelton may be forced to retire because it appears Missouri may be losing a Congressional seat due to redistricting, and if Missouri's statehouse remains Republican, which it should, Skelton will be a target.
