Real Clear Politics Senate Races: Democrats Likely to Hang On to Majority in Senate

Real Clear Politics has released its final election weekend prediction for the US Senate. It doesn't appear very likely the Republicans will win the majority, but they will erode their huge 60 vote majority to make passing legislation a little tougher in the Senate.

As of right now 49 seats appear safe for the Democrats. The Republicans have 45 seats that appear safe, and there are six toss ups in the race. The Democrats need two of these six to hang onto a majority, and honestly they only need one since Democrat Vice President Joe Biden would be used in the event of a 50-50 tie.
