| Does Billy Long have his priorities in Washington in place? |
It's been a few weeks now, but fallout over Billy Long taking special interest money from the National Auctioneer Association PAC to drop a bill to recognize National Auctioneer Day continues. Now a fellow auctioneer is scolding Congressman Long for not having his priorities is place.
Auctioneer Pat Kelly has gone on record not impressed with Long's bill to create a National Auctioneers Day. Kelly writes:
I have been in the Auction Business most all my working years. I am very proud of my profession but must say, Billy Long should be working on getting our country back on track & less about Auctions. The Auction business is here to stay but if somthing is not done Our Country as we know it may not. - April 28, 2011
We couldn't have said it any better Mr. Kelly. It's obvious Billy Long went to Washington to scratch other peoples' backs as long as they are willing to put campaign cash into his coffers.
