Has anyone picked up this idea in the White House and in the media that Obama is now a great president because he killed Osama Bin Ladin. I am reminded of a quote of John Quincy Adams about such matters.
Wherever the standard of freedom and Independence has been or shall be unfurled, there will her heart, her benedictions and her prayers be.
But she goes not abroad, in search of monsters to destroy.
Granted Osama Bin Laden was a monster that needed to be destroyed, I still think Adam's quote speaks volumes in this matter. America's greatness is that we don't look to start fights; although in recent years, that is questionable. Because of that, killing Osama Bin Laden doesn't not make Obama a great president. You know, they are going to use this and increase the importance of this mission when Obama leaves the White House.
