Why Didn't Obama Want the American People to See Osama Bin Ladin's Body?

Does anyone else find it strange that Osama Bin Ladin had a $25 million bounty on his head and yet Barack Obama never wanted to view the body? When challenged by Trump, who wanted real evidence coughed up to show proof Osama Bin Ladin is truly dead. The White House responded to Trumps request using the words “inappropriate and insensitive” to describe the suggestion by Trump, a possible 2012 presidential candidate, that the president “parade Bin Laden’s body around like it was a trophy.” Yet there is a $25 million reward for this trophy.

Why wouldn't Obama and US officials want to see the body? Why would they desire to meet Islamic customs and quickly bury the body out to sea for nobody to find or see? There really are a lot of questions that can be raised regarding Osama Bin Ladin's death.

Just seems to me the President of the United States would know the American want proof of the death and not be so quick to get rid of the evidence, if there is evidence.
