Aaron Conway's "Self
Portrait" will represent
Southwest Missouri. |
Aaron Conway's self-portrait will soon hang in the nation's Capitol building. It was selected yesterday by Congressman Billy Long as the winner of the Missouri 7 Congressional art contest. The painting will hang in the Capitol for the next year and Conway will receive a trip to Washington, DC for winning the contest.
Second and Third place winners will receive placement in Long's DC office and one of his local offices. I wonder if the artists fear Long may auction off these paintings for campaign cash.
