Ron Paul Says the Government Needs to Get Out of Regulating Marriage

Why does the federal government believe they can regulate marriage? Obviously social issues equate to votes. When it comes to marriage, state and local governments see marriage as a huge cash source as marriage licenses are nothing more than a tax on a religious function.

Ron Paul is talking freedom with John Stossel, and bringing up some ugly issues that may be "tragic" but as a free people represent the personal responsibilities of freedom our founding fathers envisioned. True freedom is something Americans don't desire as they have this need for government to protect them from everything.
