Video: St. Louis Lambert International Airport Tornado Damage

The first time I ever boarded an airplane was when I was a young child flying home on Ozark Airlines from St. Louis to see family in Springfield. St. Louis' Lambert Field, with its unique terminal, was the seed to my interest in commercial aviation. Last night that airport was hit by a tornado as storms ripped through Missouri.

The airport is currently shut down and is expected to be operating at 70% by Sunday, providing power can be restored. It's obvious causing chaos for travelers during Easter weekend. More storms are crossing Missouri as I type.
