Description of the Fatal Shot that Killed Osama Bin Laden

Details are coming out about the photograph of a dead Osama Bin Laden that the White House plans to release today. Before you read on, I want you to consider November 1963, and the US Government's conclusion about the JFK assassination, where a lone gun man firing from a distance much more considerable than the close shot the Navy Seals took against Bin Laden, completely disfigured John F. Kennedy's face.

The descriptions of the face don't match up with what one expects. The Drudge Report writes:

The images, being described as 'graphic', are bound to stir emotions in the east and the west, and will likely become the most viewed photographs in modern history.

One image shows a bullet wound to his head above his left eye.

This is different than what was reported earlier today on a Drudge Report link.

A U.S. official says Osama bin Laden was shot above his left eye, blowing away part of his skull.

The precision kill shot was delivered by a member of Navy's elite SEAL Team Six during a pre-dawn raid Monday on bin Laden's hideout in Pakistan.

The bullet wound matches, but Drudge Report says there is a clear wound. One wouldn't expect the nice picture that Drudge pains based on information he has received compared to what the US official has said about the skull being blown away.
