Pakistan Harbored Bin Laden as the US Tax Payer Foot the Bill: Pakistan Foreign Aid Should Be Cut Off

Details of the attack against Osama Bin Laden's compound in the heart of Pakistan's military heart include details of jamming Pakistani radar to ensure save delivery of the Navy Seals. Why is that when Pakistan has declared themselves an ally of the United States? Of course, we always live to learn how shallow these friendships are. We know now the Pakistan military was protecting Osama Bin Ladin.

For six years Osama Bin Laden had lived in the area that has been compared to our West Point in Pakistan. Billions of dollars were spent bombing cavernous Afghanistan while Pakistan misled us, and all the while Pakistan was receiving US aid. Despicable!

Between 2002-2010, Pakistan received approximately 18 billion in military and economic aid from the United States. In February 2010, the Obama administration requested an additional 3 billion in aid, for a total of 20.7 billion.

In other words, the United States taxpayer was funding the safe harboring of Osama Bin Laden, and Obama planned to give them more.
