Horseback Ridge: Find Kayleigh's Hidden Treasure

Have you ever been Geocaching? It may be new to you, but it's been around for quite some time. I hate to say it, but it's been about ten years since I first went Geocaching, which is what the woman I had asked out said she wanted to do because I owned a GPS. Not your typical first date, but it was loads of fun.

Geocaching is a network of people who hide and find treasures in all sorts of locations--mountainous terrains, to city environments, to even in their yards. You find the treasure using a GPS, and there are even applications now for your Android or iPhone that allow you to participate in the fun without having to purchase a GPS. Most of the good aps do require a small fee.

Anyway, Kayleigh, my energetic and free-willed Labrador Retriever and I decided to hide a new Geocache that we wanted to share with you. It's called Horseback Ridge: Kayleigh's Hidden Treasure. And rather just hide something and report it on the Geocaching Web site, we decided to have a little fun while showing Geocachers how challenging the terrain is in southern Ohio.

So we launched a special Web page with videos shot of Kayleigh carrying the cache up the knobs, and we hope you will have fun and take your family searching for this particular cache.
