The Metropolitan Grill Gives an Ode to Scott Eckersley Over Billy Long Strippers Controversy

The owners of the Metropolitan Grill have reopened a can of worms Congressman Billy Long would rather keep shut. If you remember, during the campaign, former Metropolitan Grill employees shared with voters of the debauchery Congressman Long supposedly participated in that included illegal gambling, strippers, and racial allegations.

A new ad in 417 magazine for the Metropolitan Grill recalls the controversy from the Missouri 7 Congressional race--something about Billy Long, illegal gambling, strippers, backroom shenanigans, and former Metro employees discussing the things that go on after hours at the Metro Grill.

The ad is called The Top Ten Things About Metro. In a countdown in the tradition of David Letterman, at #7 appears "Strippers and Gambling**-Thanks Scott." An in-your-face disclaimer reads "this is a joke and should not be taken literally... unless its an election year.
