Nationwide Pressure on the TSA and Department of Homeland Security Over Naked Full Body Scanners Has Federal Government Concerned

The election is over, and the subject of naked full body scanners was brought to the forefront like Hurricane Katrina sweeping across New Orleans. Americans are angry. They are angry at Janet Napolitano and the Department of Homeland Security after a printer cartridge was discovered as part of a terrorist plot and the TSA began even more oppressive operations in the nation's airports.

Americans are going as far as saying they will never board another airplane as long as the federal government is humiliating its people at airports, which the TSA has been noted as doing over the past several weeks--embarrassing anyone who opts out of the naked full body scans and then patting down all parts of their bodies, including genitalia.

The Obama administration and Department of Homeland Security have been forced by this recent uprising of the American people to meet with representatives of the travel industry who fear the oppressive TSA is killing their business.

“We have received hundreds of e-mails and phone calls from travelers vowing to stop flying,” said Geoff Freeman, an executive vice president of the U.S. Travel Association, which set up the meeting with the Obama administration officials.

“You can’t talk on the one hand about creating jobs in this country and getting this economy back on track and on the other hand discourage millions of Americans from flying, which is the gateway to commerce,” he said.
