Billy Long Continues to Play the Victim Card: Claims Jennifer Case Was Manufactured by the Blogs

There is no doubt Billy Long is claiming Jennifer Case was manufactured by the blogs in this interview with Sarah Steelman. During the interview, he refers to the last week in campaigning, of course the last week was filled with three Metropolitan Grill employees that claim Billy Long isn't a nice man and engages in behavior that most conservatives wouldn't approve of. Yet, Billy Long wants to blame the blogs for these three people coming forward. Let me explain something to Mr. Long.

There isn't any possible way you can back that up. Eli Yokely at The Fuse Joplin who broke the Jennnifer Case story didn't manufacture Jennifer Case's claims, nor did he influence the two other Metropolitan Grill employees to come forward. This idea that your skeletons were manufactured by blogs is more of this Billy Long plays the victim card, and playing the victim card isn't a conservative idea. Notice how this woman, Sarah Steelman, let's him get away with playing the victim card and doesn't challenge him on what exactly the blogs manufactured.

From Long's high-stakes gambling, there was evidence produced. There wasn't a manufactured story. Long's name appears on poker tournaments all over the United States. Long's reputation as a poker player was obviously something Long was nervous about as he continues to tell voters his gambling is an internet rumor. As well, the gambling ties into what the three employees at the Metropolitan Grill are saying. Anonymous ties close to Billy Long say he was nervous about these stories coming out before the public got wind of these allegations. (Sometime after this election, I will get more bold with my anonymous sources as I describe what cowards we have in America, especially given the importance of this election.)

And speaking of Internet rumors, it is now known that Billy Long himself was on the phone as early as 9:09 on Friday morning spreading the Internet rumor that Scott Eckersley quit the race, an Internet rumor that it looks like will be tied to Billy Long thanks to a careless political consulting firm near Addison, Illinois, who got very sloppy in their support of Billy Long.

As well, there was a anti-Nodler site that spread fabricated rumors about Gary Nodler and other candidates that also has close ties to Billy Long. Billy Long can play a victim all he wants, but don't for a second believe his campaign is innocent of the same tactics. Of course, people like Steelmen, who have given him a pass on everything, aren't going to hold Billy Long in the same light. It's these DeceptiCONS like Long and Steelman that shouldn't have a place in Republican party politics. Playing the victim card is not a conservative value, and when it appears Long's fingerprints are directly or indirectly on the same tactics in this campaign, it makes Billy Long even look more pathetic as a man and a candidate.

"It won't be long now." Yeah you are right Mr. Long. It won't be long until Southwest Missouri realizes what a mistake they made by not nominating Jack Goodman, Jeff Wisdom, Michael Wardell, Mike Moon, Darrell Moore, or Gary Nodler. As well, it won't be long until you are challenged and hopefully term limited to two years in the way our founding fathers described to term limit you.

Forget the gambling, the Metropolitan Grill, and Jennifer Case for a moment. Isn't it amazing that Billy Long would rather have an ignorant electorate than an electorate that is engaged and opens up discussions about Long through whatever means possible? When Long attacks the blogs for investigating his candidacy and plays this victim card, you really have to wonder how he really feels about the First Amendment. He may think this race got nasty, but American history shows the American campaign has a history of nastiness dating back from John Adams and Thomas Jefferson, which Long didn't even come close to dealing with anything that compares.
