Midterm Election Timeline for Approximate Times for Results in Key Congressional Races

All poll closing times are displayed in Eastern Standard Time.

Polls close at 6:00 PM est in Kentucky and Indiana

At 7 p.m. polls will close in most of Florida, Georgia, South Carolina, Vermont and Virginia.

7:30 in Ohio, North Carolina and West Virginia.

Polls close at 8 p.m. Eastern in 19 states including Missouri:

8:30 in Arkansas:

9:00 p.m. in New York and eight other states:

10:00 PM Iowa, Nevada, and Arizona

11:00 PM California, Washington, and Oregon

Hawaii and Alaska will be sometime after midnight. It's being reported it may take as long as two weeks to report a winner in the Alaska Senate race.
