Pittsburgh International Latest Airport to Receive Naked Body Scanners

Despite Italian officials throwing out the naked fully body scanners calling them ineffective, the Department of Homeland Security continues to place the controversial scanners in airports around the country. Pittsburgh is the latest airport to receive the naked full body scanners. They will begin operating five of the scanners.

“It’s a more advanced and secure way to detect threats,” Transportation Security Administration spokeswoman Ann Davis said.
