Ed Martin Concedes and Russ Carnahan Still May Lose House Seat Anyway

Russ Carnahan is a dolt who even Democrats admitted in 2004 won his seat in Congress because he was a Carnahan. In heavily the heavily unionized and Democrat populated St. Louis, Missouri area, Carnahan nearly lost his seat in Congress to Ed Martin. Martin finally conceded yesterday in what appears to be a loss due to some possible foul play. Martin ran neck and neck with Carnahan as the vote totals went into the 90 percentile reporting. In the last five percent, Carnahan took an unusually high ratio of votes. Many people are crying foul.

I noticed RedState.com is asking the question is the Carnahan dynasty in Missouri dead. How appropriate that it seems as another Democratic dynasty family has been nearly removed from Washington the Carnahan family faces a similar tale of death and sorrow and rising up again only to be slowly phased out.

While Russ Carnahan may be triumphant by whatever means he was elected, fair or unfair, it appears his days in Congress may be numbered due to redistricting. The Missouri legislature remained in control of the GOP and they will have the final say as Missouri will probably lose a seat in Congress based on US Census data.

At first, it appeared Ike Skelton was the target, but Vicky Hartzler beat Skelton last Tuesday which means one of three Democrats may soon be gone. I can't imagine the other two Democrats have as big of a target painted on their back as Russ Carnahan when it comes to redistricting.

We will know in December whether Missouri loses the seat or whether it will be Minnesota, and there is little doubt Carnahan will be watching with great intensity knowing the GOP in Missouri wants nothing more than to put an end to the Carnahan dynasty once and for all.
