MSNBC Appears to Have Created a Keith Olbermann Publicity Stunt: Olbermann Back on MSNBC on Tuesday

Bad news for Billy Long. Keith Olbermann will return to MSNBC tomorrow, and the auctioneer has already been targeted by the mainstream media for his antics as a "smack talker." No doubt, Olbermann will soon feature Long on his show in the future.

Yes, the Keith Olbermann suspension is over. From the desk of the President of MSNBC, Phil Griffin:

After several days of deliberation and discussion, I have determined that suspending Keith through and including Monday night’s program is an appropriate punishment for his violation of our policy. We look forward to having him back on the air Tuesday night.

Come on? Are you kidding me? For the first time in years Keith Olbermann was a front page story, which means more people are likely to tune in tomorrow. Can you say publicity stunt?

Olbermann's ratings were so bad that it appears MSNBC has created a media soap opera to save Olbermann's show for a few more months, and all the while it allowed Rick, I mean Rachel Maddow, to attack FOX News and its superior ratings. Now it looks like Maddow has on egg on her face, because MSNBC has given Olbermann a pass for the same things she accused FOX News of.

Olbermann's suspension was for two shows. Look how much attention he got from it. Brilliant, but it won't last for long as Olbermann returns to his hateful liberal rhetoric that shows no "tolerance" for people who don't think like Keith.
