Over $650 Billion Spent on the Military and $80 Billion Spent on Intelligence to Get "No Clue" as to Why a Missile Was Launched Near California

The United States military budget is over $650 billion. The United States intelligence budget is over $80 billion. With the threat of terrorism reminded daily of as more American rights are sacrificed in the name of security, shouldn't we have a better explanation by the federal government as to the origins of a missile that was launched yesterday 35 miles off the coast of California than no clue?

That's what we are getting. No Clue.

"Nobody within the Department of Defense that we've reached out to has been able to explain what this contrail is, where it came from," Pentagon spokesman Col. Dave Lapan said. "So far, we've come up empty with any explanation."
