Why is a Republican Operative Suddenly Worried About the Tea Party After Insulting the Movement on Twitter?

Late last week, I got an e-mail from Lucas Case trying to convince me I was wrong about the Tea Party Patriot HQ in Branson, Missouri. For those who aren't familiar with the Tea Party Patriot HQ, they are an extension of the Republican party, who work to pass themselves off as the Branson Tea party, endorsing Republican candidates even though they claim they don't endorse candidates, run their TEA Party for profit purposes according to the Missouri Secretary of State, and try to pass off candidates like Roy Blunt as Constitutional conservatives despite a voting history that violates the TEA Party's foundations.

In an almost threatening tone, Case warned me writing about the Tea Party Patriot HQ deception will bite me in the butt.

We MUST discuss your recent write-up about Tera Sukman. You are highly mis-led and mis-guided on this issue and I urge you to remove that post before it bites you in the butt.

First of all, I don't see how I am misguided based on the information the TEA Party Patriot HQ has put out. They are registered with the Secretary of State's Office as a for profit business under Boomer Sooner. They call themselves Constitutional Conservatives while propping up a man who voted for TARP, the Patriot Act, Cash for Clunkers, more government, and was part of the House leadership that was responsible for surpluses turning to debt. They claim they don't endorse candidates, but they placed candidate signs in their windows while other candidates who signed their pledge didn't get any window space. Finally, they ask for volunteers to work their for profit business. What did I get wrong? Even Billy Long praised the volunteers of the Tea Party Patriot HQ in his tweets. Why would a threat be made that questions things that are easily found on the Internet regarding this for profit business?

While I like Case, I find he continues to be a very loyal pawn for the Republican party establishment. Then it hit me late last night. I just have to wonder why is Lucas Case suddenly worried about the TEA Party? He has done nothing but insult the movement on his Twitter account, going as far as calling TEA Partiers "crazy."

Some tea partiers are getting really crazy. Whoa! I am not one of those, but, I do appreciate the excitement they have created, to extent..

Then of course there is this pledge for the establishment over the pledge for the TEA Party movement.

I am a republican. A mean ole republican. I will be pulling a republican ticket on Tuesday..not a tea party ticket..go ahead and shoot me.

To me it makes sense this Republican operative is defending the TEA Party Patriot HQ. They are an unofficial extension of the Taney County Republican Party. We know nationally, the Republican party wants to control the TEA Parties, but they don't want the TEA Parties to lead the party or have any type of leadership within the Republican ranks. While the Republicans may have celebrated a pseudo love affair with the TEA Parties this year, that  relationship is very fragile.

"If Republicans misread the intent of the American voter and are as fiscally reckless as they were during the Bush years, they soon will find themselves packing their bags and being replaced by a new crop of leaders who understand America will no longer tolerate reckless spending and misguided fiscal policies." - Phillip Dennis, Dallas Tea Party

The TEA Party Patriot HQ is simply an effort for the Republican party to redefine the TEA Party movement into a symbol of the Republican party, a party that promises more government and more spending in the Pledge to America. That's why Republican operatives like Case will call tea partiers crazy but defend the Republican post that is the Tea Party Patriot HQ.

Need more proof? There is more written about the founder of the TEA Party Patriot HQ than there is the founders of the our Republic on their Web site, and look at the obvious connection to the GOP establishment:
