Michele Bachmann Needs to Hold Senator Roy Blunt to Constitutional Conservatism Standards

Mike Church calls Roy Blunt the King of the Decepticons. I held my nose voting for Blunt today knowing he pushed the bank bailouts, Cash for Clunkers, and other big government through the House chamber. Roy Blunt is not a Constitutional conservative.

I am hoping Blunt's new gig in the Senate, which now looks inevitable, will be a new start for Blunt. Blunt has been busy courting the Tea Party in recent months, and I think he knows what happens if he betrays their trust. If you remember, during the primary, a huge Tea Party controversy broke out when Michele Bachmann endorsed Blunt over Constitutional conservative Chuck Purgason in the republican primary. Purgason was clearly the Tea Party favorite for the right conservative reasons.

Michele Bachmann wants all freshmen
Congressmen to take a Constitution for
Dummies class.
So since Bachmann put her name on big government Blunt, perhaps she can pressure the freshman Senator into taking her Constitution for Dummies class. Did you not hear one of her last Glenn Beck interviews which she proposed a Constitution class for all new members of Congress? She did.

Since she was willing to put her name on Blunt over Purgason, she needs to hold Blunt's hand through the class. That's right Ms. Bachman, take responsibility for your actions and make sure Senator Blunt is first in line for your Constitution for Dummies classes which start in January.

Like I have said in the past, why are these dolts taking the oath of office if they don't know the Constitution. It's just sad this is where we are in America in 2010. At least Bachmann's heart is in the right place.
