In perhaps the most telling story of the night, RINO Republican Mark Kirk will sit in the Senate seat Barack Obama sat in just two years ago while he was running for president. In Illinois, a state I know well and was frustrated as part of the conservative minority, Kirk overcame the odds and picked up another seat in the Senate for Republicans.
Don't get too excited. Kirk voted for cap and trade. Still, given the historical perspective of this seat, Obama's got some real problems in two years.
