Southwest Missouri is used to political shenanigans. However, the shenanigans have been professional and for the most part stayed in Washington. However, the next generation of political shenanigans comes with an auctioneer's reputation and clumsy words that hope to hide the truth. Scanning the Tweets today there is excitement and disgust over Billy Long. I am curious when I see the words Billy Long will make a good Congressman, if they have observed the race close enough to know Long has already sold himself out to the establishment and special interest groups long before going to Washington, DC.
For those claiming Long will make a good Congressman, do they ignore Billy Long took money from General Motor's PAC, the same bailed out General Motors that owes taxpayers billions. Of course, he's fed up and that was good enough for the uneducated voter in Southwest Missouri.
