What is Scott Eckersley Thinking... What is The Source and Ed Martin Thinking?

The blog the Source has two interesting articles written about complaints to the Federal Election Commission. These articles were written within a week of one another. The first article encourages Ed Martin to file an FEC complaint against Russ Carnahan for an attack Web site that accuses Ed Martin of covering up child abuse at the St. Louis Catholic Archdiocese. This isn't the first time Martin has been accused of covering something up.

Then a few days later, the Source attacks Scott Eckersley who was part of an electronic attack just days before the election as a fraudulent e-mail claimed Eckersley was quitting the race. The Source goes into a tirade of insults against Eckersley for filing ethics charges and working to discover through an ISP address who sent the e-mail and if it was connected to the Billy Long campaign.

Considering Billy Long's campaign may have funded a similar site like the attack site against Ed Martin to "Defeat Nodler" (State Senator Gary Nodler), it appears the bias at The Source is a little embarrassing on this matter.

As "Ed Martin's ethics complaint may put Carnahan in a very difficult position," Scott Eckersley's complaint may as well put Billy Long in a very difficult position, especially if it's proven Billy Long funded a series of social media sites to discredit his opponents without disclosing the funding of the electronic campaign media.
